Where Kopi Logic came from
Kopi Logic started in 2021, when two former operations consultants — both Singapore-based, both tired of watching technology implementations stall six months in — decided to try a different approach. Rather than arriving with a pre-selected platform and a rollout timeline, they started by asking what was actually getting in the way of people doing their jobs well.
What they found, consistently, was that the work wasn't the problem. The documentation was missing. Decisions that had been made verbally in a meeting were never written down. Handoffs between teams relied on institutional memory held by one or two people. The friction was real, but the technology wasn't the answer to most of it.
From that observation grew the firm's working method: map the process first, in writing, before recommending anything. When AI tools did belong in the picture, introduce them slowly, with a runbook, at a pace the team could sustain. And be honest when the tools didn't help.
Since then, we have worked with finance departments, customer service teams, operations units, and small business owners across Singapore who wanted a measured second opinion before committing to new tooling. Our client engagements are modest in scope by design, which means they tend to land well.
The name is a nod to the kopitiam — Singapore's neighbourhood coffee shop — where the ledger on the counter is always in plain view, the orders are written on paper, and nothing is ambiguous about what was asked for and what was delivered. That's the standard we hold ourselves to.

A mutual NDA is signed before any work sessions begin. We do not reference client names or describe client work externally without written consent.
Written scope before every session
Each working session has a written agenda circulated in advance. What was discussed, decided, and deferred is captured and shared within 48 hours.
PDPA compliance awareness
We work within Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act framework and flag data handling considerations as a standard part of every AI workflow design.
Reversible choices by default
